​ISPRM 2018 scholarship opportunities

Scholarship application is closed.

For each annual World Congress, the International Society of Physical and Rehabilitation Medicine (ISPRM) provides scholarships through their International Education and Development Fund to people who have insufficient/limited resources to participate and travel to the World Congress. These scholarships are available only to people from Low and Lower-Middle Income countries as defined by the World Bank (list of countries is available at the bottom of this page).

This year ISPRM, as well as Kenes International, the Professional Congress Organizer of the 12th ISPRM World Congress 2018, will provide support to delegates according to several criteria.

In order to be eligible for a scholarship, you need to fulfil the following application criteria:

  • Reside in a Low and Lower-Middle Income countries as defined by the World bank.
  • Be an active ISPRM member (either as an individual or an individual of combined national societies) and registered in the ISPRM membership database.
  • Submit an abstract for the ISPRM 2018 World Congress that is accepted after review by the ISPRM Congress Scientific Committee – The deadline to submit an abstract has been extended until Tuesday, February 20, 2018. To submit an abstract please click here.

Please be informed that there is an additional criterion to apply for the Kenes International Scholarship:

  • Be a medical student/trainee*

*If you don't meet the additional criterion for the Kenes International scholarship, you can still apply for a scholarship but will not be eligible for the Kenes International Scholarships.

Successful candidates will receive financial support towards their travel and/or accommodation and/or free registration to the Annual World Congress depending on the grant fund.
